FAQs
How much do your services cost?
The simplest answer is that we charge $300 per hour for our services. However, we offer discounted flat-fee packages for many services (check out our new business package), so you know the cost up front. We also offer payment plans and flexible payment options. Please do not hesitate to ask and negotiate.
We also offer a legal subscription program for those who anticipate their needs will last longer than three months. For more information, visit CalmCounsel. Most importantly, we offer free consultations. We strongly believe in accessibility and accountability, and that legal services should not be a luxury reserved for the few.
I’m not a “typical” therapist. I’m a coach, bodyworker, or work with psychedelics. Can you help?
Yes. We work with a wide range of professionals in mental health, wellness, and emerging fields. If your work involves supporting others in healing or transformation, chances are we’re a fit. Visit our “Who We Serve” page to learn more.
I’m nervous to talk to a lawyer. Will I be judged for what I’m doing or how I’m practicing?
Absolutely not! We were therapists, social workers, and advocates before becoming lawyers. Our job is to meet you with respect, curiosity, and clarity, not to judge. If something is risky or unclear, we’ll help you understand your options without fear or shame.
Do you only work with Massachusetts-based professionals?
While the majority of our team is physically located in Massachusetts, we offer support and are licensed to practice law in Massachusetts, California, and Colorado.
Can you help me create or review a client consent form or contract?
Yes! That’s one of our specialties. We draft and review forms like informed consent, client agreements, group therapy disclosures, KAP consent, and more. We also help you write them in accessible, client-friendly language.
